Just had the best cup of coffee – mmm bulldog! And was able to bribe my mother with a coffee to take this portrait. Thanks Mum!

I just finished working with an incredible couple for their engagement photos, and they turned out fantastic! Despite shooting in the bitter cold.

Yesterday my husband and I decided that we would make a holiday wreath, we picked out some greenery at our local farmers market – the total cost for this project was $10.00 and we had enough to make a door swag and decorate our mantel. Now our home smells of christmas
This project was super easy – works best with two people and spiked apple cider. Click here for our DIY video.
One of my goals before the year ends is to have my bedroom all set up – at the moment it is still in transition. I have an issue with space, my bedroom is pretty tiny but I want it to look warm, romantic and most of all organized.
I’ve decided I want a canopy bed- all I need to do is get matt on board.
I want to use branches to create the track for the canopy bed – I think it would look so charming.
Canopy inspirations!
This project is fairly straightforward and affordable depending on the type of wood and hardware you buy. Here is what you will need:
Final product!! Made with love by my husband
I live in a small townhouse and I am constantly looking for new and inventive ways for storage with flair. The other day at an antique store I found the nicest antique crate but the prices was $85.00 – way over my price range.
So for my birthday my husband made me a beautiful wooden crate – I will post soon with instructions. In the meantime take a look at some of these fabulous crates.
While we were planning our wedding, we soon realized that having a low budget wedding proved almost impossible – specially with all the amazing wedding decor and services available. One of the things that we were being forced to cut was photography, we could not afford to bring a photographer to Cuba. Then I started to flirt with the the idea of hiring a local photographer, however most of their portfolios lacked lust and that dreamy quality that as a true romantic I wanted.
So I decided to stop looking for a wedding photographer and instead searched for photographer whose body lied in creative photography and photojournalism, and I found him: Jorge Gavilondo – Jorge is not only a wonderfully talented photographer but a great person – He was able to understand my vision and translated it beautifully – plus he speaks English! If anyone is thinking of having a destination wedding in Cuba I highly recommend Jorge.
In order to keep my costs down, I had him take our wedding photos and hired myself to do all the photo editing.
If anyone is in need of a photo editor email me at aranda.angie@gmail.com for rates.
Here are a few of our wedding pictures. I hope enjoy the photos!
